Luxor : The largest cultural city in the world with its monuments, Tombs, Temples, co-workers houses, Obilesks, Statues, colorful wall relief on Tombs walls and the many Ostracas found on its land .

Ostraca - a Papyrus roll or a mud-dried sheet with engravings which represent an important event or a story. One or more of those Ostracas has played a great role in revealing the History of Ancient Egypt the Stella of Rosetta - Rosetta stone - which the French had succeeded to study its writings by Champolion, and knew the Alpha bet of the sacred Language (Hieroglyphic)

The Luxor city has been inhabited for 6000 years by the Ancient Egyptians who lived beside the River Nile as a main source for living, either for them or for their Planets and Agricultural environment. Those Inhabitants did a great job in the times of war and during foreign occupation. They are also the main force inside the Army, and they produced Great Warrior kings and Pharaohs. Like Ahmos, Mento Hotep, Nep Hbt Ree, Kamos, Ahmos is the Son of Seknen Ree, a Young brave warrior, the Brother of Kamos. who is also a great warrior, both had reunited for the sake of Egypt and stood against the Heksos occupation. the father " Seknen Ree " has died in this battle both sons had come over it and Ahmos became the ruler of the Country.

The City now is depending on Tourism as a main income source, it is active Day and Night, and the Government of Egypt is too keen to renovate the City on regular basis, and to make it a clean place - Hygienic and on moral side as well about 3 or 4 generations are living in the City in a good Harmony, Young and Old Christians and Muslims.  Luxor is a name coming originally from Arabic word "Al Aksor" which means Palaces, as it had many luxurious houses either for rich governors or High Prester or the Temples. The city old name was Thebes, which means the Good land, as it is near from the place of the first human creation, as per the Theory of Ancient Egyptian for Universe Creation by God. as the home town of Osiris " God of the under world " Abidos, where his Temple is still standing there.

Luxor has been drawing tourists since the late Dynasties during the Greek and Roman periods. It was also a safe place for the running away Christians from the Roman Rulers who fought against New Testament as a Habit of the Old Egyptians.

The city was divided into 2 sections, East side of the Nile and West Side of the Nile. The east side for Ancient Egyptians means life and the daily life functions. The west side is related to the after life, where their Tombs are. The biggest Temple all over the world is Karnak Temple, which is a collection of different buildings which were built in different times and different Pharaohs. Both of Karnak and Luxor Temples are standing on the East side of the River Nile

Luxor now is divided into three different areas; the city of Luxor on the east side of the Nile, the town of Karnak to the north of Luxor and the religious part “west Bank “on the west side of the Nile across from Luxor.  The main Factories in the City now are working in the Statues with different sizes and stone types. Those shops are located in the west bank where the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Memnon Colossi are standing.
