Marsa Alam : A new City in the Egyptian Tourism, well know from beginning of this Century, a baby city with its small number of Hotels, the mean feature of the City is the virgin Coast and corals.

A great attraction point for the Divers, especially the experienced Divers who are looking for something new to see and experience in the underwater world, as the city is brand new, and most of the Animals are still living there in tranquility and safe from boats, and Divers disturbance.

The City is located to the south of Hurghada, about 4 hours driving by Bus, but a new Airport was built there for the sake of increasing tourist number. The Airport was built by the Kuwait Business man, Al Khorafy. The owner of Americana Chain in middle east “MC Donald's, KFC and Hardeys "

This was a great step for encouraging more tourists and investors to build up more hotels, as the city now is easier to reach. Other Big Tour Operators like Tui and Thomas cook and Libra have started to send their charter flights to the new City.

So the city now is being visited by Italians, English - they are the high percentage of visitors - and some other nationalities whom are interested in Diving or in spending their vacation in quite places and far away from City lights and modern life.

The City is very near to the famous Red Sea Mountains, which is giving it a great night view beside the stars and the full moon shines over the mountains together with the big stars. The City is one of the fastest growing destinations for Holidays on the Red Sea Riviera. it used also to be a small fishing village, same like Hurghada and sharm El Sheikh, which also used to be fishing villages before.

The introduction of an International Airport was in the year of 2001, which made Marsa Alam’s popularity grow, and as the story is so near like Hurghada and Sharm, we expect Marsa Alam to rival fellow resorts Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh. The appeal of the city lies in its tropical nature, rich blue sea coasts, paradisiacal beaches and proud palm trees.

The Spinner Dolphins and the huge sea turtle are very rare to be seen in other Red Sea resorts, also other fish kinds which can not live side by side with Noise of motor Boats, Glass boats, etc., Those are actually counting points for any professional Diver who is looking forward to see something new or even to see something he knows, but can not find in other Egyptian resorts.

The City also enjoys a great atmosphere of silence, not like Hrughada or Sharm, less police men, far from big cities, outside the hotels; it is only a primitive life. So a visitor can feel another taste of life, which is no longer, exists in Europe or U.S.A
